• 23:1 Then Job answered and said,
  • 约伯回答说,
  • 23:2 Today also my complaint is bitter; My stroke is heavy because of my groaning.
  • 今日我的哀诉还是悲苦;我虽唉哼,所受的责打仍然沉重。
  • 23:3 Oh that I knew where I might find Him, That I might come to His seat!
  • 惟愿我知道在那里可以寻见神,使我可以到祂的座前!
  • 23:4 I would present my cause in order before Him, And I would fill my mouth with arguments.
  • 我要在祂面前将我的案件陈明,满口辩白。
  • 23:5 I would know the words which He would answer me, And I would understand what He would speak to me.
  • 我必知道祂回答我的言语,明白祂向我所说的话。
  • 23:6 Would He contend with me in the greatness of His power? No; but He would give heed to me.
  • 祂岂用大能与我争辩么?必不这样,祂必理会我。
  • 23:7 There the upright man can argue with Him; So I would be delivered forever from my Judge.
  • 在祂那里,正直人可以与祂辩论;这样,我必永远脱离那审判我的。
  • 23:8 Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; And backward, but I do not perceive Him;
  • 看哪,我往前行,祂不在那里;往后走,也看不见祂;
  • 23:9 To the left, where He acts, but I cannot look on Him; He hides Himself on the right, so I cannot see Him.
  • 往左边,祂在那里行事,我不能看到;祂在右边隐藏,我也不能见祂。
  • 23:10 But He knows the way that I take; Should He try me, I would come forth as gold.
  • 然而祂知道我所行的路;祂试炼我之后,我必显出如金子。
  • 23:11 My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and have not turned aside.
  • 我脚紧随祂的步履;我谨守祂的道路,并不偏离。
  • 23:12 As for the commandment of His lips, I have not turned back from it; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my apportioned food.
  • 祂嘴唇的命令,我未曾离弃;我珍藏祂口中的言语,过于派定给我的饮食。
  • 23:13 But He is of one mind, and who can turn Him? And what His soul desires, that will He do.
  • 只是祂的心意始终如一,谁能使祂转意呢?祂魂里所愿的,就行出来。
  • 23:14 For He performs what has been appointed to me, And many such things are with Him.
  • 祂向我所派定的,祂必作成;这类的事,祂还有许多。
  • 23:15 Therefore I am terrified at His presence; I consider and am in dread of Him.
  • 所以我在祂面前惊惶;我思念这事,便惧怕祂。
  • 23:16 So God has made my heart faint, And the Almighty has terrified me;
  • 神使我心怯,全能者使我惊惶;
  • 23:17 Because I was not cut off before the darkness, Nor did He cover the deep darkness from my face.
  • 因为我虽面临黑暗,却没有被剪除,祂没有使我的脸遮蔽不见幽暗。
